The YCAA is dedicated to raising money to support talented local youngsters training for careers in the creative or performing arts. Over the years, your donations have provided hundreds of grants, used to help with everything from travel costs to specialist equipment. Without your generosity, many of our young people would have had to give up on their future careers.
Previous recipients have included:
- Dancers selected for the Royal Ballet Associate programme.
- Students attending prestigious UK Performing Arts Colleges and Universities.
- A Psychology student working with dementia sufferers as a trained art therapist.
We support young people training for a variety of disciplines, including illustration, musical theatre, dance, drama and publishing.
